it is supposed to follow Broadchurch, after posting I saw a review where they said the series goes downhill

I will watch it anyway as it started pretty strong imo

    It's the same guy, same scene on the cliff, it was weird!
    They make it sound like a new thing, but Sherlok and Elemntary are the same but different takes
    on Contemporary Sherlok, but Broadchurch might be a scene by scene copy, ala Psycho.

      The first episode certainly looked to be just that. I had previously seen all of Broadchurch but nothing in this new one made me want to see the rest of it.
