Reminds me of Mad Men - same characters, all making the same moves, with Giulia's bare buttocks being the only bright spot... really.I think I mentioned to you before that they did lousy job arming their actors - all the weapons are from 100 years later. I am glad they did not give everyone cossack shashkas.

and I think things are amped up for this last season. Apparently the storyline follows the history of the family "somewhat". It continues past the death of Rodrigo.
At the end there is a Coda where all the principles appear (sans costumes) and give comments on the family and their effect on history. Nice touch.
Stick with it.
In many cases simply following the history makes for a very boring, repetitious spectacle. As it is here. Good script should concentrate on interesting events, not simply go from one event to many nearly identical ones.
Anyway, I am still a relative virgin to this last season, done just a few episodes, but so far I switched easily to something else - not a good sign. Nice nudity, I will give you that... and a lot of it, but that, too, becomes repetitious after a while.

You want Jeremy (the Snooze) Irons in his Bogia?
This one has more life to it, I will give you that... but still - tedious... I am clawing my way from episode to episode, they are all repetitious, so I easily switch to something different, Prometheus tonight... then come back to them... I am longing for the end of that dreadful ordeal. There is no risk of binging on this one.
I want justice.
