Yet another creative way to take no-name actors with a meaningless script and to package it with Millennial gimmicks and marketing in hopes of making a few bucks. When you take an "actor" and put him in front of a static camera you haven't spent a lot of money, have you? Superimpose Skype, Facebook, email, and YouTube and you have a multimedia mix that probably enthralls the youngest of audiences while boring the older ones. This supernatural "thriller" involves the death anniversary of a high school friend who was bullied into suicide after her drunken antics and passed-out body (complete with crapped-out pants) are put on YouTube.
I almost left but soldiered on...shoulda hadda oughta left.

While not a totally "new" concept for a movie, I kind of dig the vibe.
I like cheesy "scary movies" but really get offended when they try to do it on a budget of $2,364.00. Blair Witch and Saw have taken horror to new lows. Tis a pity.
Not so, I enjoy all Horror (warts and all). Sure there are excellent films and not-so-great. The fans are fortunate that film makers take the chance and gives us product(s). Both Blair Witch & Saw were brilliant, btw. Remember this, both Horror and Porn, exist because they are anti-establishment.
I feel it is an insult to me and other viewers. Blair Witch rewrote the book on guerrilla marketing for movies. Remember that creepy, knock-out website that drummed up all the interest? I couldn't wait to see it and then, kaboom, nothing to it, nothing at all.
If you want to scare me try spending some money. Don't try to spend as little money as possible hoping I'll fall for anything.
Gimme porn over cheap horror.
PS. Two of the chicks in Unfriended have major league ya-bows which went unexploited for the majority of the film. What a pity.
Thanks, for sharing! ;-)
My pleasure- remember both genre(s) are tongue-in-cheek.
