of the rise and ultimate fall of Amy. Truthfully, I never heard one of her songs until she died. She had such an incredible rich and mature voice it is hard to believe she was as young as she was.
The amount of footage available was astounding especially of the waning days leading to her demise.
She is the story of so many young artists who can't handle fame, exposure, and the loss of a normal life. Her dad didn't help either.
This is worth seeing even if, like me, you knew nothing of her. It is compelling to see her "birth", "life", and "death".
Follow Ups:
The epic title song has to be one of my favorite songs, ever. I much prefer that album to Frank, even with its inclusion of Rehab. The posthumous release, Treasures, is worth checking out as well if you've become a fan

"E Burres Stigano?"
...see "Senna".
Just as moving.
