I look forward to the show each Wednesday and I am yet to be even mildly let down.
This was the classic dramatic device, the peril with the clock ticking, but much more going on as well.
Vera spouts a sort of mystical new age philosophy that makes him more interesting than just a thug. He might be something more. Or he may never show up again.
The new CTO turns out to be fully as sinister as Tyrell, so that's a battle brewing.
The ending, Elliot's long reaction, was really pretty amazing. This actor can communicate so much without speaking. And in the end, everything going forward is going to change in serious ways.
I have no idea if they can resolve all of this in 4 episodes, and since this is renewed for a 2nd season, there is no need. When shows try to offer neat resolution of big metaphysical mysteries, they often fall flat (see last year's True Detective). Maybe this show will never fully resolve.
Yes, the final act paid off amazingly, then it tore our hearts out. Great suspense and drama.
I think what works in this series is that sense of authenticity. The world created in Mr. Robot is not that far from the world we in the audience know.

We're always looking for shows we like to have "legs" so they're not one hit wonders with no place realistically left to go. This one looks to have good legs. This week's antagonist's put most horror show monsters to shame.

"E Burres Stigano?"
I also love this show. Humans is ok but it can be boring a lot of the time. The actor that plays Elliot in Mr. Robot is terrific. Has he been in any other noteworthy productions?
