I won't bore you with a list, but in particular Shawshank Redemption is high on my list. I can't begin to guess the number of times I've seen it. If I'm channel surfing and I come across it, I watch it ...every time.

I have been thinking why I watch SSR again and again. I guess I love watching the sincerity of friendship and the urge to be free. I watch escape movies many times. Love Steve McQueen in Great Escape.

I enjoyed reading your list and was surprised to see The Outsiders on it. I thought I was the only one.As a kid it was my absolute favorite book ...and I guess it kinda' still is as I read it every few years.
