I've read the reviews and I'm sure Field does a nice job.

  It's Not a Chick Flick.
  It's a very quirky, funny movie.
  Sally Field is a 69 year old who becomes infatuated with a 30 year old man.
  The audience was laughing loud and long!
  
  Lili Tomlin in the Grandmother was terrific, and Maggie Smith in the Lady in the Van, and the earlier My Old Lady were other non-chick-flick movies I liked.

    ...let's say there was no violence, car chases or sex.
    
    I did see Grandma and enjoyed it on DVD.
    
    My wife also wants to see Lady in the Van, me not so much.
