I just called them to find out why my disc rentals are so slow when they used to be so fast.
They said it was the Post Office's fault for changing the rules for first class service.
But then I found out they closed the nearest distribution center to me and now I'm 350 miles away from my nearest distribution center.
One week turnaround, I guess I'd better get used to it.
Bummer.

...because their model was to move toward streaming rather then shipping DVDs.
Because you had to go out to the NET to order your discs.

I know they cut back on total titles offered a few months back. I suppose their business model is headed toward only offering streaming service? It would help their profit margin.
they offered via disc four years ago and a slightly more organized search function.
Some films really DON'T need to be listed under eight different "genres".

Most of the stores that carried rentals are gone. I guess the Redbox machines are just about all there is left? I am guessing there will be different streaming options. The current offering and then one with the premium just released films.
I wonder if they are making money on disc rentals.
Or does it loose them money?
I'm assuming sooner or later it will be gone.
Which will seriously suck. They can't get EVERYTHING on streaming, it would cost way too much.
