Especially saying "Killing" Humans, instead of maybe
get back at or get revenge for abandoning them.
Killing seemed harsh and out of place.
The movie was funnier than the previews I'm glad to say.

...not much to add except that I also liked the caricatures of the pet's owners introduced to us at the end.

I see this was the box office champ for the second week in a row despite the somewhat less than total enthusiasm from a lot of reviewers.
