Iirc, last Summer's best film was another Mad Max Opera. And worthy. But everything else was 'less'. Summer before that seemed a bit fuller.
Or am I just imagining this?

....remarkable, memorable or at least -worthy- summer blockbusters. Whatever that is.

Maybe BW is right and the political season has served as a distraction from movie going.

The majority of movies shown so far I've passed on.
