Southcliffe. At times not an easy show to watch, but exceptionally well done. Similar levels of intensity and shocking imagery.

  In general I dislike severely the series where each episode is a self-contained investigation. Not much you can do in 45 or even 90 minutes to make it gripping... you are forced to operate with some quick cliche's.
  
  I think at least 4 episodes are needed to build an interesting case.
