For such a low budget film. Don't know why...it had some strange atmosphere about it. I don't think a sequel would work unless there's some very good creativity at play.

That original movie gave the viewers a chance to discover the Blair Witch residing within themselves.

The matinee I went to was packed and when it was over nobody moved. Nobody said a word. We were stunned at the absolute nothing we just watched. BW 1.0 took made pre-release publicity an art form. The website was far better than the film could ever be. It has to have the highest ROI of any film ever made.
