Hi, no one has mentioned the Shallows. I rented that DVD the other day. It was basically a surfing girl gets tree-ed on a rock by a great white shark. With todays film technology the shark scenes make the Jaws shark look a little dated although Jaws was one of my favorites flicks.
It's a great movie and if any of you catch it I think the star girl, I can't recall her name, deserves an Oscar nomination. Check out the (ear ring) scene if you can stomach it.......Mark Korda

I saw it in a theatre with the wife. I think Blake Lively's interaction with the seagull while she's stranded on the buoy is a new cinematic low point. And I had so much hope for her after her appearance in The Town.
