A real treat to any war movie buff - so don't miss this Netflix gem.
Tons of good action and several memorable characters, all very well played.
The film has to do with the little known events in Kongo in the sixties.
The two main actors form a wonderful high-tension duo, and make sure to read the biography of Rene Faulques - France's most respected legionnaire.

Room in Rome set new reference for quality! :)

Don't ignore that great film.
Also, read on the history of the commander and his soldiers, it is a story in itself.

Excellent action sequences--no Irish killed--amazing alright!
Couple of points

Continuity --the soldiers looked the same as when they first flew in to the Congo as when they are
released from the Katanga Prison--really?
Just nitpicking but like Victor I recommend
Des
To my knowledge it has not been proven conclusively, but at the very least it is consistent with other evidence, including the planes nearby and apparently the fact his plane was already on fire when hitting the ground.
