After doing a lot of research over the weekend, I'm now leaning very heavily towards the PS3 as my first BD player. Not sure I want to apply for another Visa card, though...

  Remember, the new 40 gig unit does not have the chip to play PS2 games. The remaining 60 gig unit may be the best choice for someone with a collection of PS2 games.
