Has anybody checked the 1280x1024 Hitachi plasma TVs?

While most of the other manufacturers have 1366x768 resolution, Hitachi seems to stand alone with their 1280x1024 offerings. At 1.3 megapixel, it seems to have 30% better resolution than the 1366x768 models.
anybody experienced these Hitachis? Comments welcome!
