  Looks to be a great idea. Since you plan to use a BR/HD player with it. I'm curious to why you don't go a bit larger in screen size? I use my setup in a similar way..just with a much larger display.

  I plan on wiring a movie projector up to the same PC. This way I can view Blu rays on a 84" screen , when not using my 52" LCD display for OTA TV and internet surfing.
