Go to Amazon.com and search on "DVI-I to HDMA"
There are adapters and cables with DVI to HDMA available.

Good idea.....dumb me.
I had been concerned since I saw at least 3 different kinds of DVI and I'm up in the air about compatibility.
Also, and this isn't the connectors problem, I need to get sound out of whatever the source turns out to be, so the audio outputs working while using the HDMI out is important.
Too much is never enough
I had similar issues with an older Plasma TV set that has a DVI input. While not exactly the same situation you face, I was able to run a HDMI to DVI cable from my Cable TV DVR box to the DVI input on my TV - AND - I was able "steal" audio from the analog RCA jacks behind the Cable TV DVR box.
