About 3 years ago I bought the Jamo Torsten sound bar with wireless sub. Paid $700 new but I see a bunch of used ones on eBay for under $100.
I've been very happy with it for tv but not for concert DVDs. Very clear sound but not enough slam.
One caveat...It only accepts optical in.
