It depends on what size you want and how far you sit from it.
I'd say 60" and over, the 4K can look better IF you run actual 4K material, but hey, I'm happy with 720 plazma right now.

Great picture and it weighs a ton. I can pick up a 55" LED for $400 and carry it in one hand.
