I have been able to get quite a few HD stations with a simple wire hanging out of the 75 Ohm connector on the back of my Samsung and LG-

Based on that success, I hooked up a 'TV Specific' antennae to the LG and get about 4 flavors of each major channel and an additional 40+ of UHF style stuff...

I just ordered a cheap 30 buck indoor antenna to give it a try. I'm hoping to run it into the TV and the TV's toshlink output to the receiver and get at least stereo. This will save us 100.00 a month for the few major network channels we watch.
