We bought a new LG 4K OLED a few months ago and I streamed Netflix and Disney+ for a month before downgrading to the mid-tier 1080p service without commercials. The difference between 4K and 1080p were minimal with both services.
A couple of days after reading Abe's post I decided to try HBO Max since they had The Lord of the Rings trilogy in 4K and Dolby Atmos. Holy upgrade Batman! HBO looks and sounds 99 percent as good as 4K physical media. Well worth the extra $7/month cost over standard 1080p streaming.
HBO has a ton of Atmos content. If you're on the fence about trying 4K streaming I highly recommend giving HBO a try.
