With the story of an unsympathetic teacher who is reviled for losing 17 members of her third-grade class. Then, the plot expands into distinct character developments as the story progresses, and the macabre and creepy elements intensify. No one character is central to the film.

Excellent performances, miscellaneous grotesqueries, and a face from the past that hasn't been on film in a while.

Horror fans should line up.
