It's been out for a while, but Ms CfL and I watched it last night. Since we both live by the words, "credo quia absurdum (est)", we've always loved Devo ever since we first saw them on Saturday Night back in the 70's. However, we were never super fans, and it was interesting to find out information from this Netflix documentary of which we'd had no idea before - such as that Devo formed its own warm-up band for themselves (i.e., for Devo's own performances). This warm-up band was called "Dove - The Band of Love" and was billed as a Christian rock band. (Dove of course is just a rearrangement of the letters in Devo.) Dove - The Band of Love even got guest spots on a couple of Christian / preacher television shows - although their real purpose was to show the absurdity of this as part of the general trend towards "devolution". Devo's whole shtick was extremely funny, and they were ahead of their time in the sense that we've devolved even more these days in 2025 than we had in Devo's own heyday.

If you have the right mental attitude to appreciate Devo (and you'll know if you do or not!), I think you'll appreciate this film.
