Any comments?
I viewed it last night and thought the video was very good and bright especially on a front projection system.

My son rented that one a week or so ago. I didn't get around to seeing it, I was too busy upgrading my wires.

Which wires would that be:-)
This would have been a prime opportunuty for a test to see if it stood up the a siege.:-)

So how was the film (content)?, posted on May 9, 1999 at 16:08:13
So what did you think of the film? I don't want this Asylum to turn into Widescreen Review (all technical, no or meaningless consensus content ratings). This way, we get to learn something about the person reviewing the films. Or is this too personal?

Story was decent. Terrorists attact New york city. Bruce Willis and Denzel Washington do a good job together in this one. DD sound was good, not the best I have heard but good, Explosions realistic, gunfire good. My copy did have a couple of glitches in it though (layer changes I guess).
All in all a decent movie,

My score 7/10

Yep, I noticed the layer change but at least it was only a second or two without any loss of location or at least the time didn't skip so I can only assume the scene changed properly as it should have. I read other stories where either the disc or the player skipped a whole chapter, so th estory goes.

No, this is not at all personal. I liked the story. Pretty good action. I enjoy both actors for different reasons. Gives different characters for sure. Made me think what would or could happen under martial law. Not pleasent. I guess it could be a realistic scenario who knows all the national secrets.
