Any comments? I may have to get it after all. Rented it and the audio is pretty good. Even has Lorenna McKennit song in it.

I saw the DVD for sale, in the local video palace. I thought it was OK, but not a great movie, the ending was a bit flat for me.
P.S. I like Kurt Russell as an actor.

I just rented the video for a mindless shoot 'em up evening. It does have good specific effects, an ok story and just generally entertaining. I'd agree, I wouldn't buy it unless I was a huge sci-fi collector.

I also like Kurt Russell and though he didn't have many lines, I just loved this one:

She says, "But 17 against just 1, what are you going to do?"

He says, "I'm going to kill them all Sir".

It just struck me as a classic ala Arnold in Terminator.

My all time favorite Arnold line is "I like you Sully, I kill you last." Then later in the movie "Remember when I said I would kill you last. I LIED." I use every chance I get. For a string of bad lines so bad they are good, Commando is hard to beat.
