Not just blogs/opinion pieces from Internet sites which might be beholden to one side or another. E.g. the An official response from a major studio defecting to one side or another would be more interesting.

if you were not a paid hack on behalf of Blur-ray, you would note, posted on December 23, 2007 at 07:18:18

that Blockbuster has retrenched; they were going totally Bloo, now they are keeping both formats from that ad. Sounds like a minor loss for Blur, as if I FC.

Thieves think everybody steal.

Blockbuster never said that all stores would go Blu Ray exclusive.

Of course they want to rent out their excisting stock of HD DVD movies for as long time as possible.

against you, in favor of HD. I got this same sick mindedness from Cackle I on DVD forum.
Time for a time out, some therapy, and a little more honesty. And less gloating.

My favorite Tabloid Headline:, posted on December 24, 2007 at 07:38:45
"Leading Medical Experts Confirm: Woman Give Birth to Baby Rabbits"

The story itself appears plausible. That is because the story is about some witchcraft accusations made, I believe, sometime around the 10th century. The "experts" at the time confirmed the witcraft charges.

Hence, the only obvious problem with that headline/story is that it is not particularly timely reporting.

I have an expensive Panasonic Blu-Ray player updated with the latest firmware and a cheapo Toshiba HD-DVD player and I have to say that I prefer HD-DVD (picture, sound, menus). Not by a wide margin, but enough that if a desired movie is available on both formats I'll get the HD-DVD (w/o regard to what may happen in the future).

Must have been a case of the Editor making extra sure the source was trustworthy before publishing. :0)
