Les Destinées sentimentales - the second time around

The three hour long work featuring Emmanuelle Beart and Charles Berling among many others, is not a bad film overall.

While lacking in some spots, it still presents an interesting life story... the story that doesn't follow a straight path, and even though some actions don't seem to have strong underlining logic, they paint a human portrait of those involved.

A bit too sentimental at times, and jumpy at others, it warrants your attention and will most likely make you think aplenty.
