I didn't reflect on it for one second, his portrayal seemed honest and on point with my expectations (of an actor playing a modern day big city boss). I actually enjoyed this premiere better than the pilot for Boardwalk Empire. Truth be known, I think Grammar's portrayal of a boss is much more believable than Buscemi's sometimes wooden acting (not that I don't love B.E.).
