If you use a seach engine and look for SVHS tape you will find lots of places in the USA that sell them via mail-order. The link at the bottom is for Tape City in the UK. The sell SVHS tapes from Â£2.51 to Â£5.06 ($3.60 to $7.26 USD) and shipping might be a bit less. I have ordered from them a couple of times and received great service.
