Home Video Asylum

TVs, VCRs, DVD players, Home Theater systems and more.

It could have been your TV?

I didn't see any crap with mine, used the same TV (Sony 51HW40) setup as for the RP56, in progressive mode. I forget the TV mode I use, but some other modes cause strange motion artifacts with some DVD's, especially those made of certain TV programs.

In case I didn't mention it, side-by-side it was my opinion that the RP56 *looked* better built though, and felt better at the controls.
