DVP-S7700 Sony Problems

Well I've had My 7700 for about 18 months and over this past weekend have started to expierence some problems. About 25 minutes into a DVD, (Fiddler on the Roof), the picture started pixelizing and then the unit quit and jumped to the "DVD Menu". I then tried another DVD (Robinhood) (I've already played both of these numerous times without any problems) and while playing Robinhood, I did not expierence any of the pixelizing but after about 20 minutes got the "DVD menu".
Has anyone else seen this? Can anyone share any thoughts?
