HK AVR8000 - Anyone own one or better recommend. < $1400

Hi ,
About to pull the trigger on a HT only receiver. I can get a new HK AVR8000 for $1350. In this price range, are there better solutions. For the extra two channels, I have plenty of good amps to spare (AKSA, Marsh A400S).
