Wow, that's a good price...demo, close-out? If *I* could get one for that price, I'd snap it up. They're well over twice that price here, more like 3 times.
I'd use a "better" amp, whatever you prefer, for the front L/R (for stereo music), and redirect the front amps to the back channels for 7.1. That is, assuming you don't like the receiver front amps better of course.
