Component output

164.143.244.33

I'm thinking of connecting my X-Box, which has the option of component, s-video and composite output via a special connector cable.

However, my TV has only 1 set of component inputs which is already connected to my DVD.

The only inputs on my TV available are SCART inputs.

The question I have is whether it's worthwhile for me to get a set of cables with component cables on one end and SCART on the other. Will I lose the benefits of having a complete component cable solution?

The same query goes for S-Video?
