You might want to check out www.avsforum.com

I know several folks with Denon receivers who love them...I even bought a Denon 3300 for my Dad's HT system, which has worked fine for two years. No reliability issues whatsoever.

I haven't heard the Adcom gear, but I tend to favor separates. (I already have a high end tuner in my 2 channel system.) However, for convenience, an all in one system using a Denon receiver could be dandy.

If I were shopping, I'd also check out components from Outlaw Audio: they seem to be very good bang for the buck.
