Re: DVD choice for two-channel set up

The other day a few members from a local AVforum brought their budget players to compare, using my system, I have FMJ DV27, before I had the DV88, and the difference between the two was not much, particularly regarding sound...

We tested Sony, Toshiba, Aiwa, Pioneer and Onkyo, playing mainly Sting´s all this time DVD, all sounded substantially worst than my Arcam, meaning they didn´t even sound hifi, regarding image, some where quite close, using a 32" Loewe...

Now, my Arcam improved a lot sound wise with a VDH Mainsstream PC and an Apogee Wide-Eye digital IC, I recomend you try them if you get the Arcam...
