I'm not familiar with your Denon and you do not tell us what your video output is, but it is usual to go to a menu to choose between formats, particularly on players. Your remote should have a menu or setup button on it. Just look through the on screen options and you will find it somewhere.As a last resort (which we all avoid) try reading the manual. It will be buried in there somewhere.
