Best 32" direct view tv

My 18 year old sony xbr is dying or dead. I am trying to have it repaired but think I'll have to buy. Any suggestions on best 32" direct view tv out there. My wife would prefer a black rather than silver color but I don't care. Most watching would be standard tv and occasional dvds. Thanks . Norm
