Most folks watch 4:3 material in zoom mode or use the orbit function.
I love my CRT 34" direct view Philips HDTV with Pixel Plus, but I don't think Philips is a leader in plasma technology. The best source for good info on plasmas is the plasma forum at www.avsforum.com
