Re: S-VHS ET incompatibility problems or VCR Name Brand problems?

As a public access tv "coordinator" and full time tv production teacher, I have a lot of experience with S-VHS. It will not play on most consumer (as if S decks are really "pro") gear. A few years back, I got a real cheap JVC VCR for home that has SQPB (plays s-vhs, records only in VHS) so I could view tapes from work.

Hey, at least it's not as confusing as all the dvd recordable incompatabilities.
