Sorry to hear that...since you have time to watch HD DVD, maybe you can comment on the Battlestar SNAFU?

From what I understand,the battlestar galactica HD DVD is filled with horrible compression errors. The disc reportedly drops in and out of 1080p to 1080i and displays everything from interlacing errors to banding, blocking and serious edge enhancement. It's supposedly horrible. Interestingly, Universal included a TrueHD track and it seems to have really kllled the PQ.

This speaks to the limitations of the format that I have been trying to warn you about.
