This should probably be in the "Films" forum, but considering all the HDM discussion here, I just wanted to express my absolute astonishment at how amazing Blade Runner looks in high def. The remastered image has a slight green tinge throughout as colour timed by Ridley Scott himself. I have to say that it was the most powerful movie watching experience I have yet had at home.
I actually picked up the BD version instead of the HD DVD version this time (I usually pick up HD DVD versions from Warner), but according to all reviews of this title, they are visually identical.
