RE: Pointing Laser pointer at the TV screen any DANGER ?

What do you mean by : ".....undervoltage conditions or burn in from static images.."

Do you mean that if I PAUSE/STILL an picture from a DVD on from the TV itself then there is a danger to the plasma ?

"it is an unsafe practice to shine a red diode at a reflective surface. You risk severe eye damage or even blindness" Point taken.

I believe that there are LED light dot pointers (in various colors) available at low cost that would serve as a safe pointer" ...Are you saying these LED pointers are safe not only for the Plasma but also for the Eyes from reflection/direct. Your further advice please .

My Laser pointer specification : Laser Diode , Wavelength 635-680 nm, Maximum Outpur lexx than 3mW , Class 2 Laser product. --What do these all mean if you care to clarify for the benefit of the uninitiated.

Thank you very much.
