Time for a new TV 32-37"

Hello All,
Well it is time for me to get a new TV. I am thinking about something in the 32 to 37" range. I think I would be fine with 720p, as I have herd that 1080p is not needed so much in a set that small. Is that correct?

I went to a store yesterday and did the visual test. In fact the salesman that helped me was the one that sold me my first set of speakers some 20 years ago, Ultralinears. In the past I have really liked toshiba tvs, and I like their remotes, but now I am liking the picture of the Samsung. I dont like the samsung remotes though. I already bought one of those logitech remotes anyway so not liking the samsung remote is not a big deal.

So far the one I like is the LN32A450. Does that look like a good one, or is there something else, other brands, or whatever that I should be looking at?
