If you are considering a Sony PS3 or BluRay, keep 1080p in mind, even for a 32". I really like the Samsung LCD picture quality, even on the 720p unit (about $530 at Costco).

I recently purchased the Samsung LN32A550 32 Diagonal 1080p LCD for around $770 at the QVC website and have been highly impressed with its ease of setup / use and display quality.
