Panasonic viera plasma black out problem.

Hi,
I have a 50" viera and experience blackouts on the screen every now and then.The sound remains but picture disapears and screen goes black for 2 to 3 seconds.
I have it hooked up as follows.
-cable direct to shaw pvr box
-hdmi out to Onkyo ht receiver
-hdmi out to tv.
The signal also remains on the receiver when this happens.Has anyone had this problem before?
