I have the same tv, but with a worse problem, I think. A 2" wide bloc of dead pixils just poped up half way up the screen. The guy reading the news looks like he has a black tie on.
I guess its done after three years :(

What you should do is try different cable to the tv, to see if its the cable. Maybe try a s-video.
