Yes. I swapped the projector bulb with a spare hoping, but not believing, that was the problem. As expected, the problem persists. I have sent an email to Hitachi. I paid $4000, in 2005, for this set. I was hoping to get more service before replacing. It has lasted longer than a 42 inch Philips plasma that failed in less than four years. If my experience is any indication, the days of a TV lasting 10-15 years are gone. Thank you for your suggestions.
