It looks like it does all the essential stuff. But only 4 HDMI inputs, no preamp outs, no S-video inputs. No upconverting of standard-def sources so you'll need to run a composite video cable to the display as well as HDMI, then remember to switch inputs on the TV. And the OSD from the receiver may only work with one of those outputs.
